And the winner is...

It's no mystery who is gonna take the Oscars home this year (Forrest, Helen, Jennifer, Eddie, etc.). So these are the people I'd give the Oscars to if I could:
Performance by an actor in a leading role: Leonardo Di Caprio (If they would have nominated him for The Departed he would have totally won). But Forest is a great actor too and it'd also be great if Peter O'Toole got it. So I am at peace in this category.
Performance by an actor in a supporting role: Mark Wahlberg (Alan Arkin and Jackie Earle Haley were super good too, but Marky was perfect)
Performance by an actress in a leading role: Kate Winslet
Performance by an actress in a supporting role: Adriana Barraza. (I'm 100% sure Rinko is not going to win and that's good enough)
Best animated feature film of the year: Cars
Best documentary feature: An Inconvenient Truth
Best motion picture of the year: The Departed
Achievement in sound mixing: Apocalypto
Art Direction: Pan's Labyrinth
Cinematography: Children of Men
Adapted screenplay: Little Children
Original screenplay: Pan's Labyrinth
Achievement in directing: Martin Scorsese

Marcel, you are my Top Chef

I'm SO disappointed Marcel Vigneron didn't win Top Chef! He is a much better chef than Ilan or any of the other contestants.
I couldn't believe it when I heard the unfair decision of the judges and neither could everybody else at the boards, we were all up in arms. We all saw not only that Marcel was a better and more creative chef, but also a way better person than Ilan.

Good luck Marcel! I know you will continue doing great things!
