How is babby anything?

Many years ago I saw at a street fair in Mexico the coolest outfit for a baby. It was a black velvet onesie. Obviously I didn't buy it cause I didn't know anybody who would appreciate it, though now that I think about it I should have bought it and saved it for the future, oh well!

Babies are the strangest thing to me. As I stopped being a kid I stopped hanging out with kids, then when I became a teen and never saw any kid or baby, then from college on I started gravitating more towards gay friends. My gay friends never had anything to do with kids or babies and neither did I. I haven't even met my cousins' kids! Coincidentally and very appropriately my neighborhood is not a family neighborhood, so there aren't any children in the vicinity.
Kids are such a rare sight to me they may as well be creatures in danger of extinction. Like koalas I just ever see them on TV, and even then, there are no kids on any of my tv shows!
Now a baby is going to join the family via my brother, it feels like he's buying a zeppelin or a gorilla. That item is not in my database, when I see him through my HUD I'm just gonna get a bunch of question marks. How unusual and unexpected, now such a foreign thing is going to be close to me. What do koalas eat? Eucalyptus leaves?

I wish I could afford these cool items for the upcoming baby!
